Holy was found in a ditch, close to death, after being attacked by dogs.

The first weeks after her rescue were a rollercoaster — she couldn’t stand, couldn’t walk, and wouldn’t eat or drink on her own.
The team spent several nights at the sanctuary by her side.

After weeks of antibiotics, IV drips, and round-the-clock care, Holy pulled through. She initially lived apart from the other goats while she recovered, but today she’s fully part of the herd.

She’s strong and confident now — and, unsurprisingly, a little spoilt from those early weeks of constant one-on-one attention.

Fun Fact: Square Pupils One of the quirky physical traits of goats is their rectangular-shaped pupils. This unique eye shape allows them to have a wider field of vision and better depth perception, aiding in their climbing abilities and vigilance against predators.
