Archie was one of the sanctuary’s first residents. He arrived at just one year old, alongside his brother, Ché.

Spoilt from the very beginning and never shy about sharing his opinions, Archie is always the first to greet us each morning—his voice often waking the rest of the village.

Since Ché passed away, Archie has been adjusting to life without his brother, and our team has been keeping a close eye on him. Since moving to our new land, we’ve already seen a wonderful change in Archie’s behaviour. He seems happier and more settled, and it’s lovely to see him finding joy again.

Favourite things: carrots, above all else — closely followed by apples. He’ll let you know if breakfast is running late.
